Sexual and reproductive health is an important part of lifelong wellbeing, and understanding where people’s needs are unmet — particularly where early, preventative action can make a meaningful difference — is essential for shaping a healthier future for our residents.
This sexual health needs assessment provides an overview of the current sexual health picture for Swindon residents. It looks at local services, data on sexually transmitted infections, abortions and teenage pregnancy, and includes stakeholder feedback from both residents and professionals working in sexual and reproductive health.
The assessment has been produced to support future commissioning arrangements and sets out a recommendations to help shape the next sexual health strategy.
The report is available to view or download from Health Needs Assessment page.
