Sexual Health Needs AssessmentThe purpose of this 2015 Sexual Health Joint Strategic Needs Assessment is to identify, record and make recommendations on sexual health needs in Swindon. This report is owned by the Sexual Health Executive Group, which is responsible for ensuring that the recommendations are taken forward.

The Swindon Sexual Health Strategy builds upon the findings from the Sexual Health Needs Assessment 2015.  The strategy recognises that good sexual health is important throughout the life course.  It encompasses a wide range of areas including sexually transmitted infections (STIs) including HIV, teenage pregnancy, abortions, contraception and relationships.  The strategy provides a vision for sexual health and wellbeing in Swindon and identifies five priority outcomes.

Public Health England have produced a set of local level Sexual and Reproductive Health Profiles and an interactive data tool which contains the latest Swindon data.

 

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) People Health Needs Assessment

The 2018 Joint Strategic Needs assessment (JSNA) explored the health and social care needs of LGBT people in Swindon with the aim of providing demographic information to inform future commissioning intentions to improve services for LGBT people in Swindon.
